Recognizing the Good Things in Life

Tea is my favorite beverage to drink, besides water with no ice and a lemon on the side. My pastor's wife introduced me to drinking all kinds of teas. I fell in love! My favorite by far is peppermint tea. Raw Honey is my favorite! We used Agave for a while... I prefer honey... I don't have to use to much because it is SUPER sweet!

When it is freezing outside or when I want to relax from a crazy day at work or school, I put some hot water on the stove and relax with a wonderful hot cup of tea.

Another thing that is comforting is reading or writing. I mostly write about everything that is good in my life. Addressing the good things in my life helps me not to focus on the not so good things in life. My life is incredibly blessed and I have nothing to complain about. I have everything I have ever dreamed of. When I refer to the not so good things in life I am talking about direction and where things are headed. For example, I am trying to figure out the timing for every single thing in my life... I obviously have no idea when everything will occur or how it will happen...(God knows the timing and what is best) HOWEVER, when I write down everything that is good, I realize that I am on the path to everything happening in its own time. I realize that I am on that "good" path. The unknown is what makes me uneasy. That is where prayer and my relationship with God comes in. Through HIM I find rest, comfort, peace and happiness. I know everything will work out in the end but when will that 'end' be?
