India-My homeland

In an Auto, Mumbai, India
I just came back  from my trip to India (about two weeks now). My husband, Mom, and father went and we had the most amazing time. We did some mission work the first week in Mumbai, while we were there I also got to visit a Clinic/Hospital, the orphanage ("Almost Heaven"), churches, shops, malls, and see the SLUMS.

After our first week, we flew to Kerala, this is where my HOME is. Southern India, filled with men wearing 'skirts' or what you would officially call them, 'munds', the most intelligent people ever, rubber trees, spiders as big as my husbands hand, cows, monkeys, passion fruit and the Festival Onum. They are long fabric wrapped around the waist and most probably are not held up by a belt. You apparently have to rely on how right you can tuck and pull.

During our stay in Kerala, we visited family, Anthony preached 7 times at 5 different churches, encountered many creatures, had fun adventures and made many memories. For the next couple of weeks I will be blogging on my trip and posting on certain ideologies, memories, Christian thoughts, the Slums, abortion, the sex-ratio, corruption, poverty, and many other things. Stay Tuned!!!

Sincerely,

Bina Rachael Walker
